Shaun “Oom Dagga” Kurten is officially hanging up his tools and retiring.
Shaun has been a true asset to this company — A Commissioning Technician who simply got the job done, and got it done right, every single time. Whether commissioning on-site or lending his experience to a tough problem in the workshop, you could always count on Shaun to see it through properly, with no shortcuts and no half-measures. That kind of reliability and experience is rare, and it’s the reason he’ll be missed as much as he will.
Today, we say thank you — for the years, the hard work, and everything you’ve given this company. It hasn’t gone unnoticed, and it won’t be forgotten.
Shaun, you will genuinely be missed. Sites run smoother, teams laugh harder, and problems somehow feel smaller when you’re around. That’s not a small thing to leave behind, and we don’t take it lightly.
