MODEL CE500 WELD CONTROLLER

Clifford has launched a new integrated low cost weld controller to be used in all resistance welding applications. The controller is available either as a stand alone unit or as a fully assembled system suitable for quick connection to an existing spot welder. The control includes features such as half cycle welding, upslope and RS485 data download. These units can be used as a direct replacement for older unreliable systems or can be used in new machines. Provision is made for data entry either directly via the keypad or via an integrated RS485 interface. Where shop floor data entry is not permitted, programming can be carried out either via a plug in programming unit or via a multidrop RS485 data link from a central PC.

The CE500 weld controller is a simple flexible resistance welding controller, using SCR control. Phase shift control is used to vary the primary current of the welding transformer. Available either as a stand alone unit or as a complete kit. For more information, please e-mail spares@cliffeng.com
